To feel the full spectrum of emotion – connecting you to your breath, to your body, to the rhythm. Awaken is a full spectrum experience of breath, dance and sound in a high-vibe club-like sober environment. Guided by DJ, producer and Meditation Instructor Corey Sheikh’s curated sound journey this vibrant sober atmosphere create a space for celebration & transformation

THE EXPERIENCE:

Self-Healing Discourse: A discourse and teaching of on self-healing, introsepction,and meditation developed by Teacher Corey Sheikh after spending over 7000+ Hours in various meditaiton and healing modalities.

Breathwork Meditation: Center your mind & balance your body – This style of breathwork meditation is a gentle process that moves into the subtle layers of the body & mind, bringing calm, peace and ability to investigate sensations of thought & Emotion.

Free Flow Dance & Intuitive Movement: A guided movement flow to help warm up the body leads into  an invigorating and free flow dance to a full wave of music including Organic, Afro & Progressive house along with Melodic Techno, Tribal and Cosmic Ambient. A space of expression, and immersiving yourslf in movement.

Sound Journey Integration: Experience the healing soundscape frequencies of an ambient soundbath. guiding you back to a place of stillness, ending where it began.

Welcoming Social environment & Connection: An inclusive, sober social environment to connect, plan and explore this experience among like minded individuals.

• 6:30PM -Doors Open, Social, Cacao – Downtempo Set by Amanda Elemental – Enjoy your cacao, settle into the atmosphere and connect with like minded folks
• 7:30PM Opening Circle & Self-Healing Discourse: Settle in and prepare for the evening with guided meditation and reflection
• 8:15PM Breathwork Session: Connect with your breath and release tension as we begin the journey.
• 8:45PM Ecstatic Dance: Immerse yourself in rhythm with our curated set of Organic, Afro, and Progressive House/ Techno beats – It gets wild here!
• 10:45PM Sound Journey: Transition to a state of calm with a meditative soundscape, bringing you to a place of inner peace and grounding.

Facilitator: Corey Sheikh – Ecstatic Dance DJ, Producer, Spiritual Mentor & Meditation Teacher

Corey Sheikh has been weaving music through the facilitation of ecstatic dances, breath circles, sound journeys and meditation sessions since 2012. His musical & meditative journeys pull on sounds that blend the worlds of Organic, Shamanic Tribal Fusion, Ethnic, Progressive & Melodic Techno/House along with Meditative space ambient and cosmic synths. One of his newest endeavors in Music Production is the blending of shamanic, Gregorian, and ethereal vocals with the beat of the earthly drum, cosmic synths and organic beats. Both in the music he produces & the meditations he guides hold the intention of eliciting inner peace, activating latent joyful energy and coming into grounded embodied presence. Sheikh offers his main "AWAKEN Experience" at festivals, retreats and local events, which is a weave of sound, movement, breath, dance & meditative exploration.
