◅ Back to the Roots: Where it all begins. The beginnings of an old tradition… where we would come together every month, for 6+ years, and commune through dance on the land we know as Lost Valley. We welcome you to join us as we return to our roots for our first public dance event of 2021.
◅ We vision that this will not only be a space of fundraising, live music, dance & celebration… but that those who come will support our visions in creating Permaculture technologies on the land. We welcome you to come early, campout with us the night before, and learn from the stewards of the land on how to create solutions for the future.
◅ All of this takes place at an 87 acre nature sanctuary, intentional community (55 residents) & aspiring ecovillage known as Lost Valley Education & Event Center/Meadowsong Ecovillage, located approximately 25 minutes east of Eugene, Oregon.
◅ This is a conscious and intentional event that holds space for deep healing, joy, and communion. Leave alcohol and other mind-altering substances at home, and bring your natural light.
◅ We strive to create a safer and more inclusive space for all people, including marginalized and oppressed groups. We work towards increasing literacy around consent, boundaries, privilege, and diversity. Our safety and inclusivity team holds space for emotional or physical support for participants during the event.
◅ We offer discounted tickets to BIPOC, Transgender, and Alter-Abled people. Our facilities offer Gender-Neutral restrooms for this event. Disabled parking is also available close to the venue.
◅ We acknowledge that the Winefelly band of the Kalapuya nation once resided on the land we now dance upon. We acknowledge these people were violently removed by white colonizers. We pay our respects to these first peoples, past and present, and practice compassion for the perpetrators who stole their own humanity. We humbly apologize for the harm that was and is still being done. We intend to work towards repairing and healing this inter-generational wound.
◅ PRE-SALE tickets available online. Tickets will not be sold at the door. We expect this event to sell-out. Only 100 general admission tickets available.
◅ WORK-TRADE: Limited spots available. Reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org for more info.
◅ CHILDREN: Children are welcome at this event – as long as there is direct supervision at all times. We create this container primarily for those who are 18+.
◅ PETS: Please leave your pets at home for this event. Thank you for understanding.
◅ SMOKING: Only permitted in designated areas. Please find event organizers if there is a need to smoke.
◅ BRING YOUR OWN BLISSWARE: Please bring your own bowl, cup (for kombucha/tea/cacao) and silverware for the catered dinner.
◅ NOTE: Registration will be officially closed at 6 PM. We encourage everyone, especially first-timers, to join us for our opening circle. Please do not arrive after this time.
◅ PLEASE CARPOOL! Parking is limited. Parking passes available for $15.
