MEET THE ARTISTS

Krishna Das

Layering traditional kirtan with instantly accessible melodies and modern instrumentation, Krishna Das has been called yoga’s “rock star.”

With a remarkably soulful voice that touches the deepest chord in even the most casual listener, Krishna Das ” known to friends, family, and fans as simply KD” has taken the call-and-response chanting out of yoga centers and into concert halls, becoming a worldwide icon and the best-selling western chant artist of all time.

His album ‘Live Ananda’ (released January 2012) was nominated for a Grammy in the Best New Age album category.

“The chanting just hits you and you want to be a part of it,” KD promises. “That’s the point of this whole thing. That’s what cuts through all the ‘stuff’. You get lit up. You don’t have to know what it means.” – Krishna Das

Deva Premal & Miten

Grammy-nominated, endorsed by celebrities as varied as Cher and H.H. Dalai Lama, with 2 million album sales and over a million monthly Spotify listeners, Deva Premal and Miten are modern day spiritual nomads on a mission to share the medicine of Sanskrit mantras with the world.

As musicians, teachers and chant masters, they have been at the cutting edge of Sanskrit chanting for 25 years, enhancing the yoga practice and opening the hearts of millions.

Wherever music is utilised for meditation, stress relief, personal growth and conscious contemplation, you will find the names of Deva Premal and Miten.

The couple, who met in an Indian ashram in 1990, model spiritually conscious living, travelling the world sharing a continual outpouring of sacred music and positivity.

Jai Uttal

Jai Uttal, Grammy nominee, kirtan artist, and world music pioneer has been a leading influence in the Bhakti tradition for the past 50 years.

Jai considers devotion to be the core of his musical and spiritual life, and he whole-heartedly shares his passionate heart through his voice and songs. With call-and-response group chanting and storytelling, Jai Uttal creates a space of invocation, prayer, and heartfelt expression.

“These ancient chants,” says Jai “contain a transformative power and healing energy. By singing these prayers we join a stream of consciousness and devotion that has been flowing for centuries.” Jai has been leading Kirtans worldwide for close to 50 years, creating a safe environment for people to open their hearts and voices.

No previous experience is needed. This is an exploration and expression of the heart and the spirit

"Kirtan is the calling, the crying, the reaching across infinite space – digging into the heart’s deepest well to touch and be touched by the Divine Presence.”
