Ecstatic Dance | SHEWXLF
Ecstatic Dance is a practice of moving meditation, a process of liberation, and an opportunity for raw, authentic expression. If you are new to edance, please read the rules below.
Dance every Thursday 8-10pm
SHEWXLF (Bhanu Nandini) brings you around the world and back to your center with genre bending sounds infused with multicultural spirituality, her love of travel, and nature. Ambient soundscapes weave into medicine music, tribal chanting, mantra, Afrohouse, Latin, and sacred bass. Ecstatic dance was her core focus as she emerged as a DJ and it has shaped her sound to take listeners on an adventure to find the missing parts of themselves on the dance floor. Bhanu has performed in Mexico, Ecuador, and on many festival stages across the US. Her true conviction that “Music is the Medicine” lives in her frequencies. “My desire is to bring dancers back to their bodies, into their hearts, to heal themselves and the Earth. It starts with us.”

Ecstatic Dance St. Pete
EDSP was founded by Tanner Roan in 2018 with the mission to regularly provide space for people of all ages to come together in a safe, loving, judgment-free space to express themselves through movement.
We’ve been holding edances weekly since 2019 and are committed to anchoring the ecstatic dance community in St. Pete.
Here, you’ll find the opportunity to step into vulnerability, build courage, express yourself, be seen and heard fully, connect with community, connect with yourself, and experience transcendent states of bliss & transformation as you expand your awareness of your own potential.
There is no pressure to be or do anything. You can come and observe, or jump right into the full experience.
