Free Sound Healing for Military and Veterans
RELAX, RESTORE AND RENEW WITH AN IMMERSIVE SOUND HEALING—LED BY DR. EDDIE VERNON
We are excited to announce a Free Group Sound Healing for Military, Veterans, and their family members. This event will be co-hosted by the Mike McGreevy Foundation and is being held to honor the service members lost during Operation Red Wings as well as all of the sacrifices made by military family members around the world.
Since ancient times, sound has been a powerful healing agent for body, mind, and spirit. The ways in which sound affects the body’s energy system—including the chakras and meridians—can bring about profound, positive transformations in our well-being.
In this 75 – 90 minute group session, holistic healer Dr. Eddie Vernon will lead participants through a deep-immersion, relaxing, and restorative sound bath. The session will draw upon the power of the human voice and several unique sound healing instruments from China and India, including Sonic Healing stones, the Glassophone, plate bells, gongs and chimes.
This sound healing will help you release any stress, anxiety, agitation, or frustration that you may be feeling. Stuck emotions like anger, stress, and worry result from energy blocks in the body. The sounds of the healing instruments can unlock those blocks, leaving you feeling at peace with yourself, the environment, and things as they are.
Sound healing is best experienced lying down. So please bring yoga mats, blankets and/or pillows to help you be comfortable lying on the floor. Chairs will also be available.
If you’ve tried other stress-releasing techniques, but they haven’t worked, sound healing may provide the breakthrough you’ve been seeking. You will leave at the end of the session feeling relaxed and void of any agitation or tension.
Consider this a mini-retreat from the stress and issues of life.
