Frequently asked questions
Is this a fast paced class or a flow class?
No, this is gentle yoga with a gentle progression. There is lots of space for breathing and being with your own body, heart and mind.
Do you play music in this class?
There is no music in this class until the relaxation portion at the end. Then, quieting music is sometimes added. We trust in the power of silence to heal and relax.
Do I have to have any previous yoga experience?
No, this is a gentle and slow class. Most of the class takes place on the floor. Just bring your open heart and mind.
Can I arrive 10 minutes late?
Starting on time is preferable, however we understand how life happens. So if you find yourself running late that day, take a couple minutes outside the door to breathe deeply and relax a bit before entering the room as quietly as possible, so as not to disturb others.
