Join these two passionate and seasoned teachers for a day of honoring the sacred, via symbology and tradition; and join an inspiring community in celebratory movement and joyful embodiment.
Tika and Nubia share a long time friendship and love for one another and a deep respect and appreciation for the traditions from which they draw.
This offering will focus on the reviving and healing properties of the water element and on how the devotional waters of creation can purify our hearts, bodies and souls.

Tika Morgan has been cultivating community through her dance work in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2005. She also offers retreats and workshops throughout the US, in Mexico, Cuba, Brazil and Australia.
Her work is centered around dance as a way of life. Embodying and celebrating the power available within us through movement.
By working with traditional and popular dance, from the sacred to the celebratory, she inspires participants to delve into discovering the endless possibilities that are available to us all through moving with consciousness. Dancers are guided to explore, at any level, the interplay between form and freedom, vulnerability and power and the joy of moving as one.

Author, Yogini, teacher trainer, and Odissi dancer, Nubia Teixeira has devoted herself to teaching different aspects of Yoga for the past 30 years. Perceiving Yoga as a Healing Art, Nubia’s refinement and unique style, overflows with sacred meaning and heartfelt inspiration. Nubia leads workshops, teacher trainings and retreats locally and around the world.
