When the Harp Sings by Wendy Tahara

A lifelong musician, Wendy Tahara began classical piano lessons at age seven, eventually earning a performance degree from Indiana University School of Music in Bloomington, IN. Later in life, she discovered an unexpected, profound love for the Celtic harp along with kundalini yoga, which helped place her on the intuitive spiritual path which guides her to this day. Wendy has performed her music for yoga classes, meditations, sound baths, retreats, spiritually conscious festivals, the Croatian healing gazer Braco, toured with the artist Ashana, and provided meditation music for The Agape International Spiritual Center for Michael Bernard Beckwith. She has had the pleasure of playing with the Sound Healing Symphony at San Francisco’s Grace Cathedral. Wendy is also an accomplished dance musician and has played for dancers and choreographers such as former American Ballet Theatre dancers Amanda McKerrow and John Gardner, as well as the late David Howard. She was a meditation musician for MYNDFULL, which brought meditation sessions to employees in corporate workspaces such as Live Nation. Her latest project, Savasana Sound, brings beautiful, calming, powerful yet peaceful sound journeys and concerts to the community in Los Angeles, CA, and beyond.
