Rainbow Camelot: A Feast, Workshop, & Open Mic

Details:

Welcome to an intimate eccentric feast, workshop, & open mic-cum-costume ball exploring individual sovereignty, personal power & the wild ways we can allow it to manifest through us on earth.

For all queer & ally folk of the mystical & shadowy realms ready to start shining their light in the sun of our intimate Round Table. Kings, queens, knights & plebeians welcome. This is a safe space.

Dress in your finest garb – spare no color or eccentricity! – and unleash your untamed voice onto yer fellow kindred whose sanity is undoubtedly questionable but whose wisdom is no fool’s gold.

Poetry, stories, yer most enigmatic dreams… bring them all in beaten leather notebooks or the flower-blooming recesses of yer skulls. This is yer moment to express your light – however strange – & own your power. We will explore what this means this evening.

We begin with mindless chatter & an organic, vegan feast before moving into several  performative writing prompts, designed to open our minds to our inner well-spring & self-worth. As an honored guest ye are offered a generous 6-10 minute slot of time to speak yer truth come the open mic – only if you desire to share your secret dreams.

Dandelion coffee, gluten- & sugar-free confections will be available as well as a hot pot of bubbling vegan goodness brimming with fresh fall vegetables for ye he-ladies & she-gents. All graciously included in the cost of entry. Traditional teas also available.

Please register in advance the best you can. Palace doors open at 6pm. We feast on herbs & words at 6:30pm in the rear chambers. If ye be late (after 6:30), you will find closed doors! (This is to protect the container.)

Park ye steeds by the Olde Playhouse Theatre, hold onto yer skirts as ye steal up the steps above Logan’s, & weave a world of magick you can call yer own.
